The London Eye

Wrapping up my unexpectedly wonderful trip to London and Paris. I’ve had my chance to pay respects to my dear uncle Bill and family and also to rediscover this great city that I can now happily call my second home. I made this picture two days after seeing a most excellent Cartier Bresson exhibit at Somerset House that was so amazingly inspiring. Bresson shunned colour photography but also inspired generations of photographers to go out and see, feel, capture and express the juxtaposition of beauty, sadness and movement that is all around us.
